Entitlement

Entitlement is set by the AID Board of Directors prior to the start of water run. It is set to ensure an equitable distribution of irrigation water. The entitlement for 2011 is set at 1 cfs for 6 days for every 20 acres of 100% entitlement land.

The volumetric water surcharge is set by the AID Board of Directors in September of each year, at adoption of the annual budget. Last year's rate was $4.10/per acre foot and it is not anticipated to change.

100% entitlement.......….....….…......6.00 days per 20 acres running 1 cfs;
75% entitlement........….….....….......4.50 days per 20 acres running 1 cfs;
50% entitlement............….....……....3.00 days per 20 acres running 1 cfs;
25% entitlement ......…….................1.50 days per 20 acres running 1 cfs;
Groundwater Only entitlement.........1.50 days*  per 20 acres running 1 cfs.

* Surcharge of additional $3.00/acre foot for surface water deliveries while entitlement remains at 1.25 days for Groundwater Only entitlement.
